Type: Full-time

Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities:

• Translating legal documents from English to Chinese and vice versa
• Managing translation-related knowledge including glossaries, translation memories, etc.
• Undertaking other related work assigned

Work-based competencies:

• Education background in English/translation/law, interdisciplinary background preferred
• 1-3 years’ experience in legal translation or relevant fields
• Solid Chinese and English language skills
• Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and CAT tools

Behavioral competencies:

• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to excellence, determination to produce high-quality translation products under time pressure
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Attention to detail while having a sense of the bigger picture
